CARRIE IVES
When someone asks 'do you believe in God?,' what image comes to mind, before you even answer? Do you answer with a caveat, like, 'I believe in God, but not the 'old man in the sky' type of God? Have you ever heard - or said - 'if that's what God is like, I don't want anything to do with Him'? How we think about God makes a huge difference to our relationship with Them.
During this afternoon 'playshop,' we'll do a little talking and a lot of artwork (no talent required!) as we explore who the Divine is for each of us. There are no right or wrong answers! All are welcome, of any faith or no faith background.
This is an expansion of the exploration begun during the Aug 18 worship service. (Attendance at that worship is not a prerequisite for this playshop.)
