Meet Jackie Fernandes of Yoga Inc

Workplace exercise programs and wellness programs have been proven over and over to produce better than original investment returns. Your employees are one of your biggest investments. Give them an unforgettable experience and set your company apart from competitors not offering such a perk.

Jackie Fernandes launched Yoga Inc. in 2014 to bring a unique health & wellness benefit to the workplace, one that benefits employers and its employees. She leverages her corporate experience to provide programs that provide tools and techniques that individuals can use in and out of the office.

Yoga, Inc offers a different kind of wellness program for your workplace, one that sets you apart from the competition. Increase your bottom line by offering a program that improves morale, reduces stress, increases productivity, reduces absenteeism due to illness and prevents injuries that occur due to repetitive motion.

Yoga Inc. creates customized fitness, mindfulness, and yoga programs and workshops that focus on balancing emotional, mental and physical health. Contact us today to get started.

Is Yoga Part of Your 2014 Personal Revolution?

January 2014

Happy New Year (Early)

Reminders & Extras

Snow = No Yoga

Due to the nature of the space that we practice in and due to my inherent nature, there will not be class if it snows.

I do my best to send out an email if inclement weather forces us to cancel.  However, with power outages and limited access to email, the easiest and most definitive way of keeping track is through our facebook and twitter accounts.

A Yogi's Intentions for the New Year

Peaceful Revolution

True Colors

Happy New Year (A Little Early)!

I have been receiving requests for the return of our Yoga Classes!  Have you made Yoga part of your personal revolution plan for 2014?  If your resolutions and intentions include scheduling some more time for peace, health, and balance in your life, yoga can make those goals possible.

How many of you would like to see Saturday Mornings back on the schedule?  A morning/lunchtime class during the week?  A few students have mentioned scheduling conflicts in regards to Tuesdays.  Would Thursdays work instead?  I am looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Life Coach Laurie Gerber on How to Keep New Year's Resolutions

Laurie Gerber is the President of Handel Group's private life coaching division.  Here are her top five tips for anyone who's already made a resolution or is still planning to make one?

 1. Shift your attitude - Integrity is year-round, but you have an opportunity to reignite it, so don't pass it up.

2. Start with one resolution/promise - One of the biggest pitfalls is making it too difficult for yourself and trying to change too many things.

3. Write it down - You get extra points for making a visual for yourself. Try a collage.

4. Share your resolution with other people - whether it's a coach, a friend, a buddy in a support group. And send an email to everyone who believes in you and ask them to hold you to it.

5. Give yourself a consequence if you don't keep a promise. If you don't lose a pound a week, you owe 200 push-ups; if you're late to an appointment you owe the person you're meeting a coffee or $5.

November Gratitude and Goodies from Amy Spencer

November 2013

Autumn is my favorite season and Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!  We are going to continue to map out a practice on our mats that will help us to create spaciousness in our hearts and in our lives.  Cultivate an "attitude of gratitude" and give yourself permission to slow down and savor all of the little moments and joys of this season.  This is a great time to think about how small acts of kindness towards others and even towards ourselves can make a world of difference.  Be kind to yourself!  Carve out some time in your schedule to find stillness and connection.

We have been working on our Chakras and will continue with our Third Chakra tomorrow evening.  We will also be weaving into our practice, the theme of Diwali and the energy of the Solar Eclipse we had on Sunday!  I have handouts and would be happy to help catch you up if you have missed any classes, so please do not hesitate to sign-up and attend the next four weeks!  Please bring your payment and completed paperwork with you to class.

Thank you to everyone for your "flexibility" and for your enthusiasm!  This newsletter is FULL of great links.  Please take a moment to explore and enjoy and please take a moment to share this email so that we can continue to grow and practice in our beautiful space.

Gift Certificates

Once again, Gift Certificates, in any denomination will be available for the holidays!  You can purchase them from me or from A Simply Wholesome Life in Windham, NH.

They make great stocking stuffers or beautifully wrapped presents!  A single class, an eight-week session, or private sessions are delicious things to give and receive.

Pangea Organics

I began representing Pangea Organics in February of this year.  Those of you that know me, know that I would never attach my name or reputation to something that did not meet or exceed my extremely high standards.  I encourage you to try their products.  Not only are they great for your skin, they are great for the planet!  We have some amazing specials this month ad you could take care of a huge portion of your holiday shopping from the comfort of your own home!  There are great items for teachers, stocking stuffers and hostess gifts!  Gift Certificates can also be purchased.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Email me at [email protected] or call me at 603-425-8195.

 World Kindness Day

Quote of the Week

"Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend... when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present - love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure - the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth." -Sarah Ban Breathnach

I am so grateful for all of you and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey of Yoga!
