About: Multiple Sclerosis affects people in the prime of their lives, between the ages of 20 and 50. Every hour someone is newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and more than 2.5 million people worldwide live with this unpredictable disease. The symptoms of MS are different for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day. Currently there is no cure for MS, which is why we felt the need to not only make an impact in the Multiple Sclerosis community but also in the Greater Lowell community through this fundraising event. With our inaugural event held on October 3rd, 2015, we were able to raise a net fundraising total of $6000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Greater New England Chapter. Since then we have raised almost $20,000 and with your help we can make even more of a difference at the local level!
