  • Built McGraw Hill Construction Analytic’s first multimillion dollar analytical tool, Real Estate Decision Tools (aka Pipeline / REAPS), which was used to analyze commercial construction and planning activity in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Primary designer/developer on Analytic group’s most popular and revenue-generating program, Market Analyzer, a powerful tool for making profitable construction market decisions using datasets featuring historical and forecasted data geared to the customer’s geographic and project type areas of focus.
  • Managed an offshore QA team on multiple projects, trained and provided knowledge transfer, performed QA/UAT testing functions to determine if user stories on Agile projects were completed on time and met acceptance criteria.

Built CMFS Electronic (CMFS Analyzer) application that provided a useful search engine for McGraw Hill Construction’s comprehensive nationwide 5-year forecast of construction markets and gave the CMFS group a much needed digital presence.

  • Developed Metro Insight which was a metropolitan-level report for the Top 36 metropolitan markets showing a comprehensive analysis of the historical and forecasted construction activity in those areas versus the entire United States.
  • Maintained the Analytics group website content by updating the Market Trends, press releases, Top 10 metropolitan markets sections, and client download area content which increased product awareness and customer retention.
  • Built an Electronic Delivery System to automate the posting and packaging of client deliverables to the client download area website which reduced operating costs and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Worked on a team that developed a trio of web applications called SpecShare / BuildShare / Marketshare.  Followed Agile methodologies while on the development team that developed dashboards and fixed defects using Tableau.
  • Primary developer working with a third-party vendor on the Analytics group e-commerce web store.  Modified production tools to create new metadata content for the site and to automate the posting process to the vendor’s data repository.
