The Golden Rule of Networking - Help others first!

Yes my friends that is the golden rule. Everytime you meet someone, think to yourself how can I help this person? The best networkers are the people who think " who do I know that this person would benefit from meeting"? When you put other peoples' needs ahead of your own you will always benefit in the end.

Friends of Kevin Update

I am excited to announce that the Friends of Kevin is now incorporated. Because of your incredible support we have decided to expand on the services we will be offering to the group.

Friends of Kevin Website – The friendsofkevin.com website is now up and running. The cost to promote you and your business on the website will be $150.00 per year. Corporate rates are also available. Please call or email me for details; 978-995-1743 or kevin@friendsofkevin.com

Monthly Friendworking events – We will now be holding monthly events to allow you a chance to friendwork with the group more frequently. The cost to attend the events will be $10.00

Expansion into Southern New Hampshire – Based upon the positive response we had about the event at Southern New Hampshire University, we will be holding more events in New Hampshire.

Breakfast events – We had our first breakfast meeting for the trade group in January. We will be expanding on this idea and offering breakfasts for our professional service and marketing groups. Please let me know if you would like to attend one of our breakfast meetings.

I never imagined when we started this group that we would grow to over 650 members. It has been an incredible experience for me. Thank you for believing in me and for being my friend.

Blue Tooth

Unless you are part of the Secret Service remove your blue tooth ear piece when you are networking. Your blue tooth doesnt make you look important it makes you unapproachable.

Does your Mother know you do that?

Today’s Networking Tip – Does your mother know that you do that? I have found that many people never take the time to make sure that their family understands what they do for a living and who a good referral is for them. Remember your referrals will come from people who know like and trust you so don’t miss out on a great source of referrals tell your family how they can help you grow your business.

Stand out from the crowd

Today's networking tip - When was the last time you sent somebody a handwritten note to thank them for meeting with you? This simple gesture will leave a positive impression with your potential client.
