VOICES offers support, advocacy and resources to victims/survivors of crime throughout the entire process and beyond, including court advocacy, personal advocacy and support within the community as they move forward with their lives.
VOICES provides educational information to community groups and community leaders, regarding sexual assault, child sexual assault, internet safety.
VOICES has raised awareness of the issue of violence since its inception in 2004 and has successfully advocated for many laws to protect survivors of crime and our communities, inculding, making level 3 sex offender information available on the internet, extending the statute of limitations on sex crimes against children, the classification of sex offenders before release from prison, Massachusetts Missing Child Clearinghouse, GPS tracking of homeless sex offenders and Jessica's Law, mandatory minimum sentences for sex crimes against children.
We are a consistent voice for those whose lives have been affected by violence and those who want to prevent future crimes. We are the VOICES of survivors, parents and the community.
