About the Company: Applaud Women in an on-line publication and resource website to inform, inspire and applaud women in New Hampshire & northern Massachusetts. We provide a variety of articles, information, lists and links of interest to our visitors. Within the magazine most articles are written by local professionals on subjects like Health, Parenting, Dating, Business, Home, Advice, Beauty, Fashion, Finance, Seniors but our core articles have always been about Inspirational women. On our Resource pages we have listings of local (NH & northern MA): restaurants, wedding professionals, beauty professionals, women-owned businesses, female doctors, travel destinations and seasonal activities. Because we know our readers are busy women we also provide Information pages with links and RSS feeds in the areas of Health, Parenting, Dating, Beauty, Fashion, Celebrities, and the Weather. Basically anything women in NH or n. MA want to know, they'll find it here.

Susan Caldwell, Owner, Publisher & Founder of Applaud Magazine and then Applaud Women moved from Long Island to New Hampshire in 1976 and continues to live there. Although Susan holds two Bachelor degrees and a Masters they do not relate to her current field. Prior to 2001 Susan’s work experience centered on social work and accounting/auditing. Her only related education is a Certificate in Graphic Design and Illustration and her experience is what she has learned in the last 8+ years. She has been motivated by her zeal to provide the best that she can and her passion to celebrate local women. In 2002 she began creating Applaud Magazine, a print version of the current online magazine. Along with many other publications which have transitioned to the web, she transitioned Applaud Magazine to the Applaud Women website in 2009. Over the last two years she has added the Resource and Information components of the website and has plans to increase the resources available in the future. In the last 8+ years she has worked as a publisher, editor, sales person, graphic designer, web designer and social media expert.

Each issue also has feature articles as follows: Winter – Weddings; Spring – Beauty; Summer – Food, Wine & Destinations; and Fall – Health.
